Salary: £40,000- £45,000 depending on experience. A relocation package will also be offered for the right candidate

We are looking for two Senior Registered Managers to join our team at Acorn Care and Education. This is a senior operational management role for a large complex integrated residential, education and clinical service - offering the opportunity for career development.
The roles would be to act as registered manager directly for a service as well as taking on leadership and management responsibilities to develop the junior registered managers in the cluster and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. At times, you will be required to act as deputy to the Head of Care.
Someone who has passion, drive and commitment to deliver inspirational leadership to care staff and young people would be perfect for this role.
About the homes
The homes are part of a six home cluster, based on a 30-acre family feel, site that includes a School. This setting is based in Norfolk, nestled in between the scenic and quiet countryside and the town of Attleborough. It provides a tranquil setting for not only our Children and young people, but also our staff and will always be a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of Norwich city.
Our main aim is to deliver high quality care for young people who have Autism and accompanying learning and behavioural challenges.

About the Role
At Acorn Care and Education we put the child’s needs first, aiming to exceed expectations, promoting as much independence as possible and nurturing a fun, family atmosphere. As a Senior Registered Manager, you will provide inspirational and motivational leadership and a primary focus on quality of Care. You will assist setting strategy, working with the team to balance care, therapeutic and educational initiatives, delivering a multi-disciplinary approach that maintains a fun and nurturing environment whilst achieving for the children.
Working closely with the Head of Care and inspiring the other home’s Registered Managers, the successful candidates will ensure the homes have effective management and the required team capability to further develop and continually improve. You will drive and maintain high standards in the context of staffing, delegated budgets, resources, fabric of the buildings and the health & welfare of residents, legislation and current guidance in children’s residential care whilst ensuring conformity within Group expectations
You will be joining an experienced and committed staff team and will have the opportunity to deputise for the Head of Care in certain circumstances. The site cares for Children and Young people with Autism who may display challenging behaviour and have mild-moderate learning difficulties. Therefore, the successful candidate must have experience working with Autism and Challenging behaviour.
- Coach and develop the team to maximise their performance and potential and work effectively together to deliver the best outcomes
- Enable the young people to fulfil their potential through structured education, care and wellbeing interventions that are relevant to their needs
- Manage placement plans building relationships and gaining best outcome agreements with local authorities
- Manage the home in line with the allocated budget
- Oversee all referrals and assessments within the home
- Ensure Ofsted quality standards are upheld.
- Qualified or working towards Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Child Care (England)
- Experience of working with and managing challenging behaviour directly linked to Autism.
- Proven track record of managing people and performance
- Ability to work across and support the management of a 24/7 operation
- Previous Good – Outstanding Ofsted rating
- Experience or willingness to deputise for a Head of Care.
- Attained Level 3 CCYP
