Pastoral Support Manager

Location:          Reddish Hall School, Stockport.

Salary:              Up to £24,000 dependent on experience

Hours:              37.5 hours per week

Contract:          Permanent, Term Time only

We’re looking for a Pastoral Support Manager to join our team at Reddish Hall School.

About the Role

To assist the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in developing the school as a high quality specialist provision for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) through providing the highest standards of pastoral care and support for all pupils of all abilities. This is carried out in a safe and orderly learning environment, which provides a high standard of behaviour.  To support the teachers and learning support workers in addressing the needs of all pupils but especially those pupils who need particular help with behaviour management to overcome barriers to learning. All the duties outlined are to be carried out under the direction and supervision of the Senior Leadership Team.

Essential Criteria

  • GCSEs in Maths and English, grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working
  • Ability to build relationships with children & young people
