Are you an innovative Assistant Headteacher, committed to improving the lives of children and young people?
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Head who has experience if working with children with Additional Special Needs (ASN) to join our fantastic team at Closeburn House, Closeburn. As Assistant Headteacher (ASN), you will support our Headteacher in school management, delivering our pupils educational needs, maximising children’s achievement, and their ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a Assistant Headteacher (ASN), who is looking for the chance to bring innovation and creativity to inspire learning in an SEN environment for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be the custodian of our strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
In partnership with our Headteacher, you will deliver clear, authentic leadership to our multidisciplinary team, establishing school aims and objectives, ensuring high levels of quality and compliance and working collaboratively to develop appropriate, individualised programmes of learning for our children.
When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher (ASN), with the experience, leadership skills and vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Educated to degree level or equivalent with Qualified Teacher Status, GTCS qualification required. You will be experienced in an SEN environment, enjoy leading a team, and be genuinely motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.
Closeburn House is located in beautiful rural location in Dumfriesshire, South West Scotland yet close to principle towns and villages that offer a wealth of interest and beauty - all of which are utilised through 24 hour learning opportunities where appropriate.
