Location: Stoke on Trent (Driving Licence essential due to location)
Salary: £18,720 - £19,760 per annum (£9.00 - £9.50 per hour) plus £45 per sleep in
Hours: 40 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Children's Support Worker to join our fantastic team at The Laurels in Stoke on Trent. As a Children's Support Worker, you will share our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people to be happy and to make their way in the world. in a way that maximises their achievements and ability to develop.

Whilst previous experience of working in a challenging role would be desirable, excellent skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
Holding or be willing to work towards the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Child Care or equivalent qualification, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.
The Laurels is an Ofsted registered ‘Outstanding’ rated 3 bedroom children’s home offering care and education for boys and girls aged 7-18 years old with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Located in a residential setting, situated close to Stoke-on- Trent, The Laurel provides a caring, structured and homely environment for our children. We are within commuting distance of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Hanley, Tunstall, Stafford, Crewe, Macclesfield and other surrounding towns and villages.
