Salary: £9.00 - £10.50 per hour plus travel allowance if you live over 40 miles away.

Our cluster of five residential homes are looking for caring individuals who enjoy working with young people and are keen to make a difference.
We are looking for creative, active and open-minded Care Workers, to join our family feel team. You must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds and behaviours. We are looking for candidates, who may have an interest in sports, cooking, hair and beauty, orienteering, video games, the outdoors etc. and want to get involved, have their ideas heard and are confident being a parental figure. Previous experience with young people with a history of SEMH is preferred and a Level 3 qualification in health and social care is desirable. However, as long as you have the desire to complete the qualification, which will be fully funded and supported, all the training and help needed, will be provided to ensure you are able to thrive in your care career.
Our homes are up to 8 bed homes all aged between 6-18. Our aim is to help young people achieve their full potential and prepare them for future independence. We work in partnership with relevant agencies, facilitating further education, training and employment opportunities. We make every effort to effectively engage and work with relevant persons involved in young people's care with the aim of ensuring that each young person's needs are met. Our homes try to implement comprehensive, well-structured daily programmes of adventurous activity and we have weekly house meetings, used to consult with the young people to plan the forthcoming week’s activities and menu planning.
The homes work on a 14-day, rolling rota and a full time contract will require a candidate to work 7 days out of the 14. A day shift is from 07.30 – 22:00. Sleep ins are also required. Accommodation and meals are all provided, when on shift. To reduce travelling for those living further away it may be possible to work the days on shift in longer blocks followed by longer periods off-shift.
The team within these home all work collaboratively to ensure the young people are supported and safeguarded, within and outside of their home. Candidates must hold a driving licence to ensure they can take the young people on days out, to school and to appointments.
