Salary: £18,720 - £19,760 per annum (£9.00 - £9.50 per hour) plus £45 per sleep in

Location: High Onn, Staffordshire

As a Children’s Support Worker within our residential home, New Villa, you will work directly with vulnerable children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and complex needs. Daily tasks involve providing them with the care, support and opportunities they need to be happy, healthy and to make their way in the world. You will work with our multi-disciplinary team to contribute to individual Quality of Life Plans and provide a balanced programme of personal development focusing on social skills, independence and community involvement enabling the young people to achieve their full potential. You will also be responsible for chaperoning the children to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips to the zoo, completing relevant paperwork, undertaking household tasks and where appropriate administering medication.

New Villa is a 6-bed home, which helps support Children aged between 7-18 who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and additional complex behaviours. New Villa is linked with 13 other residential homes in the area and aligned to the main school, Shifnal creating endless opportunities to develop and progress within your career.
