We are looking for responsible, caring people to join our fantastic team at Lily Cottage,Denmead as Waking Night Support Worker As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will support our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Waking Night Support Worker s carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. You will chaperone the children to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips to the zoo, complete relevant paperwork, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administer medication.
When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Previous experience in a care setting would be great but isn’t essential as full training will be given, and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important. These roles are ideal for people working in customer facing industries including retail, hospitality and leisure, looking for a new role that makes a real difference to children’s lives and futures.
Already qualified to or willing to work towards your NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, able to work the required shifts, and be motivated to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
Denmead comprises of 2 Ofsted registered independent children’s homes, Lavender House and Lily Cottage. Both offer residential care for children & young people aged 7-18 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The residential homes are set in rural South Hampshire offering a holistic model of care and education for the people we support, which is designed to provide an enriching and positive environment. Denmead is within commutable distance from Waterlooville, Fareham, Havant, Portsmouth, Gosport and other surrounding towns and villages.
