Role:                    Occupational Therapist

Location:             Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire/ There will be an expectation of travel within the locality

Salary:                 £32,000 - £37,000 FTE, depending on experience

Contract:             Permanent, 3 days per week (52 week contract)

This is an exciting, new opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our clinical hub, covering schools, residential homes and fostering agencies. An ideal opportunity for those who would be excited by creating a nationally important resource with the substantial backing of a leading provider of education and care for children, young people, and adults with complex needs.

About the Role

You will work with staff and young people, covering Park School and surrounding residential homes and contribute to the assessment and intervention plans for our children and young people with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, complex and SEMH needs. You will also be contributing to training, consultation with staff members and reflective practice. There will also be opportunity for clinical involvement within fostering services.

You will be responsible for holding the occupational therapy caseload at Park School and surrounding residential homes. You will work closely alongside our in house clinical team. It is an exciting opportunity to be supported by and work alongside our specialist clinical team hub across the region, which comprises of Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language therapy, Psychotherapy and therapy and psychology assistants.

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist. Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to care, education and clinical services would be perfect for this role.

Essential requirements

  •  Recognised and relevant Occupational Therapy degree, and HCPC registration.
  • Experience within the specialist client group
  • Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality
  • A driving license and car are essential due to the nature of the role.
