Belmont Primary Pupils Get Stuck into Tree Planting!
Some of our Belmont Primary pupils have been rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty,
At our schools, the connection between teachers and pupils goes far beyond academics – it’s truly life-changing. When students feel understood, supported, and empowered, their potential becomes limitless. The impact of this relationship is evident in stories like that of Oscar, a determined young man from The Grange Therapeutic School, part of Acorn Education, who has discovered his passion for construction.
With the mentorship of construction instructor Mark Galleozzie, Oscar has played a significant role in transforming an empty workshop into a fully functional workspace. From building walls and plastering to laying the groundwork for success, Oscar’s dedication and hard work are a testament to what can be achieved when students are guided with patience and encouragement.
For many neurodivergent children and their families, the future can sometimes feel uncertain. However, the dedication and expertise of our specialist staff ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive. By fostering a nurturing and supportive environment, we help children develop essential life skills, build confidence, and grow their independence.
Mark’s mentorship has provided Oscar not only with technical knowledge but also with a sense of accomplishment and belief in his abilities. This holistic approach to learning emphasizes that success is about more than acquiring skills – it’s about building trust, resilience, and confidence.
We are incredibly proud of Oscar’s achievements and grateful for the commitment of educators like Mark, who make a lasting impact on their students’ lives. Their story serves as a reminder that with the right support and encouragement, every child can reach their full potential.
Oscar, you are an inspiration! Mark, thank you for being an exceptional role model. Keep up the fantastic work!
