Benton House Achieves BIG Award for Excellence in Challenging Bullying 2025–2026

We’re delighted to share that Benton House, part of Acorn Education, has been recognised with the BIG Award for Excellence in Challenging Bullying 2025–2026 – a fantastic achievement that reflects the team’s ongoing commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.

The award recognises Benton House’s proactive and meaningful work in embedding anti-bullying strategies across the school. This includes targeted approaches such as racial language intervention, peer mentoring groups and a strong focus on building a culture of respect and understanding among pupils and staff.

Kevin Graham, Pastoral & Family Manager, said:
“The award recognises our work in embedding anti-bullying strategies, racial language intervention and peer mentoring groups. We’re so proud of this achievement and would be delighted to support any other schools that wish to do this too.”

We would like to say a huge congratulations to the entire Benton House team for their dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive and positive learning environment where every young person feels safe and valued.
