The Holden School Unveils New Sensory Room to Support Pupils
The Holden School is proud to announce the official opening of its new sensory room, a dedicated space designed to support pupils' sensory, motor and emotional regulation needs.
We’re delighted to congratulate Jubilee School, part of Acorn Education, on achieving the Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) Bronze Accreditation – an important milestone that recognises the school’s commitment to embedding children’s rights across all aspects of school life.
This achievement reflects the dedication of both pupils and staff in developing a shared understanding of rights and responsibilities. Through curriculum links, assemblies, class discussions and engaging visual displays, the school community has explored the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, ensuring that children’s rights are actively recognised and respected every day.
Pupil voice has been at the heart of this journey, with learners playing a key role in shaping decision-making and influencing how rights are woven into learning and the wider school environment.
Achieving Bronze Accreditation marks the beginning of Jubilee School’s Rights Respecting journey, with the team now working towards Silver Accreditation as they continue to strengthen a culture of inclusion, respect and empowerment.
Congratulations to everyone at Jubilee School for their dedication to making children’s rights a lived experience for all pupils.
