Belmont Primary Pupils Get Stuck into Tree Planting!
Some of our Belmont Primary pupils have been rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty,
We’re incredibly proud to share that one of our former pupils from The Wenlock School, Ethan Burgoyne-Daniels, has achieved something truly special – collecting his Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Gold Award at Buckingham Palace. It’s a milestone moment for Ethan, his family, and all of us at Acorn Education.
Ethan completed his Gold Award during his time at The Wenlock School, where he embraced the challenges of the DofE programme with dedication and resilience. His mum shared a moving message that captures just how impactful this experience has been:
“I am incredibly grateful for the life-changing opportunities the school gave Ethan through the DofE scheme. He’s gained so many valuable life skills – leadership, resilience, independence – and grown so much in confidence. The school’s dedication and care made all the difference, encouraging and inspiring him to take on new challenges, build strong relationships, and discover new strengths.”
This powerful testimony is a reminder of the difference our schools can make when young people are given the support and encouragement to reach their full potential.
Congratulations, Ethan – we’re so proud of everything you’ve achieved. And a heartfelt thank you to the exceptional team at The Wenlock School for your unwavering commitment to transforming lives.
