The Holden School Unveils New Sensory Room to Support Pupils
The Holden School is proud to announce the official opening of its new sensory room, a dedicated space designed to support pupils' sensory, motor and emotional regulation needs.
We are delighted to announce the official opening of Miller House School, marking an exciting milestone in the development of this new specialist provision for young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
The school recently welcomed a number of distinguished guests to celebrate the occasion, including Teresa Aldred, Aasiya Bora and former Tom Croft, who joined staff, students and families to mark this significant achievement.

The opening of Miller House School reflects the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in bringing the provision to life. From the commitment of staff to the ongoing support of families and carers, the school has been built around a shared vision of creating a positive and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Supporting students aged 11 to 16, Miller House School provides specialist education for those with social, emotional and mental health needs. The school is designed to offer a safe, supportive setting where students can develop confidence, build resilience and achieve their individual potential both academically and personally.
As the school community continues to grow, this opening represents the beginning of an exciting new chapter for students, families and staff alike.
