Crookhey Hall pupil makes history with Police Cadets Legacy Award
We’re incredibly proud to celebrate a remarkable achievement by Crookhey Hall School pupil Tyler, who has made history after receiving the Legacy Award from the Police Cadets.
We’ve been delighted to welcome several local MPs to Acorn Education schools throughout the year, providing an opportunity to showcase the fantastic work taking place across our schools and highlight the importance of inclusive education for children and young people with SEND.
The visits have given MPs the chance to meet pupils and staff, see our schools in action and learn more about the support and opportunities available to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
We’d like to thank everyone who helped make the visits possible, including:
Visits such as these are a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of the experiences of children and young people with SEND and the importance of ensuring they have access to the right support to thrive.
At Acorn Education, we’re proud to work alongside our local communities to champion opportunities for children and young people, raise awareness of SEND and help ensure every pupil has the support they need to achieve their potential.
